Who we are

ShopDomainName ("we", "us") operates shopdomainname.com. For anything in this policy, use the contact form — it reaches us directly.

What we collect, and why

• Contact form: your name, email address, the optional domain you name, your message, a two-letter country code derived from your request, and a timestamp. We store this so we can read and reply to your message. That is its only use.
• Domain alerts: if you sign up, we store your email address, a two-letter country code, and a timestamp, so we can email you when new names are added to the portfolio.
• Valuation queries: the domain you type is processed to compute a result and to check registration status against the public RDAP registry. We do not store your queries linked to you.
• Abuse prevention: to rate-limit the free tools and the forms, we store a salted cryptographic hash of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address, the hash cannot be reversed to it, and these records are deleted within roughly 24 hours.

Leaving this site

The domains we list for sale are sold on external marketplaces. When you follow a listing link you leave shopdomainname.com, and from that point the marketplace's own privacy policy and terms apply to you, not ours. We do not send them your details, and we receive no personal data back from them.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no analytics trackers, no cookies set by us.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties for marketing.
• No newsletters or drip campaigns.
• We publish no email address on this site, so nothing here is harvested by scrapers.

Infrastructure

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, security), so requests are processed by Cloudflare's network as our infrastructure provider. If bot protection is active on the contact form, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical signals to distinguish people from bots.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent for domain alerts (you can withdraw it at any time), on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us, and on our legitimate interest in keeping free tools available for abuse prevention.

Retention

Contact messages are kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Domain-alert entries are kept until you ask us to remove yours. Rate-limiting hashes are deleted within roughly 24 hours.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time through the contact form. Alert emails include one-click removal. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here with a new effective date.
