Who we are

ShopDomainName ("we", "us") operates shopdomainname.com. For anything in this policy, contact contact@shopdomainname.com.

What we collect, and why

• Waitlist: if you join, we store your email address, the role you select (buying, selling, investing, curious), a two-letter country code derived from your request, and a timestamp. We use this for one purpose: telling you when the beta opens, and understanding roughly who is waiting for it.
• Valuation queries: the domain you type is processed to compute a result and to check registration status against the public RDAP registry. We do not store your queries linked to you.
• Abuse prevention: to rate-limit the free tools, we store a salted cryptographic hash of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address, the hash cannot be reversed to it, and these records are deleted within roughly 24 hours.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no analytics trackers, no cookies set by us.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties for marketing.
• No newsletters or drip campaigns — the waitlist gets launch-related email only.

Infrastructure

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, security), so requests are processed by Cloudflare's network as our infrastructure provider. If bot protection is active on the waitlist form, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical signals to distinguish people from bots.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent for the waitlist (you can withdraw it at any time) and on our legitimate interest in keeping free tools available for abuse prevention.

Retention

Waitlist entries are kept until the launch notification has been sent and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete yours. Rate-limiting hashes are deleted within roughly 24 hours.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing contact@shopdomainname.com. Launch emails will include one-click removal. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here with a new effective date. Material changes to how waitlist data is used will be announced to the list before they take effect.
